Kale has been talking about his birthday for at least 9 months. He wanted to have a "Happy Feet" birthday party, in honor of his favorite movie. Including a dance party, penguin waddling contest, pinata, slip n' slide, and watch the movie. 
Well...as it turns out, the slip n' slide was such a hit we didn't need anything else! (Of course we can't have a typical slip n' slide, 40 feet of construction plastic works SO much better!) I did play Happy Feet's rockin soundtrack will the kids played, so there was definantley some dancing.
Curtis made the cake! (I had gotten back from Girls Camp less than 24 hrs earlier and I was very grateful he took care of the whole party.)

Oh my, how fun! I need to buy the things that the kids slid on for our slipnslide. Curtis, your cake is very impressive!
What a FUN party! You're lucky to have the space for that GIANT slip-n-slide. And I can't believe Curtis made the cake, too! That's real talent :)
